Idler Group

An Idler holds the track chain in proper alignment when the machine is in motion. It is located at the back of the track frame for adequate support. Our Idlers are manufactured with the best quality material coupled with advanced manufacturing processes to improve the life cycle of the product as well as provide high-stress proportions.

We manufacture high lifecycle Idlers that can be integrated with all major brands and models of heavy engineering equipment

Features

  • The roller body is made up of high-strength steel material - SCMn3A, which is a widely approved material globally

  • The roller shafts are processed to a surface roughness of Ra 0.2 - Ra 0.4, which is higher than the standard Ra 0.8 to provide smooth operation.

  • The idlers are induction hardened for a surface hardness if 52-57HRC on the tread for long life.

  • The induction dept is pre-calculated for various parameters and maintained from 3mm to 7mm for superior life.

  • The seal kits are adopted with 2% of Mo (Molybdenum) in the material, which improves the lifetime of the seals by about 30-40%, providing the highest quality seal kite.

  •  The copper layer in the busing is processed with a factor of 0.2mm thicker to improve the lifecycle of the bimetal copper bush by about 30-40%

  • We ensure the lubricating oil performs at its optimum levels at both extremes, not to freeze at lower temperatures, nor to resolve at higher temperatures. (Range: -40’C to 110’C). We generally use SAE85 to ensure the proper functioning of the Idlers.

  • We supply forging idlers, which provide a better life for the idler by about 20-30% more than conventional idlers with lower weights.

  • We have a higher range of idlers available for all major brands in the market

    • Caterpillar

    • Terex

    • Komatsu

    • JCB

    • Bobcat

    • Hitachi
